A little recap of charity drag brunch this weekend and the reason why we do these. Although the glitz and glam of drag brunches are fun, it has always been for our community. $82,800. That equals the amount of love and support our community has come together and provided. As a hyper-local restaurant focused on supporting local artisans, the people in our community are the backbone of what runs us. So to give back in anyway is a meaningful feat. With charity’s such as @timeoutyouthcenter @safe_alliance @charlottegaymersnetwork @autismcharlotte @lacoalicionclt and @cbreastfriends , every cent makes a difference. We are so proud to host a safe space for people to come together and make a difference. Thank you to all that have come so far, and we look forward to continuing supporting the community in whatever form that takes.

One of my favorite spots in all of Charlotte is The Artisan’s Palate @theartisanspalate! It is such a unique spot with its eclectic & rustic decor, secret hidden garden in the back, art gallery inside and beautiful outdoor patio.

Not only do they have amazing food that is sourced from local farms but they also feature art from local artists in their art gallery. The Artisan’s Palate also has a fantastic wine selection, serves local coffee during the day, and features live music from local musicians.

They recently launched a margarita flight, so you can keep those Cinco celebrations going all summer long. In terms of food, they are tapas style. My faves here are the bacon wrapped dates (a must!!!), sliders, mussels & octopus.
